Who We Are +
Why We Do This Work
Moms Mean Business exists to center moms in policy conversations that shape our economy, our families, and our futures. We believe that supporting mothers’ economic security isn’t a niche issue: it’s the foundation for a thriving society.
Founded by Sarah Wells, longtime advocate, entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and mom, this movement is rooted in lived experience and real-world impact. Before launching the nationally recognized Sarah Wells Bags brand, Sarah spent 15-years advancing workplace equity and public policy, from long-term care to women in government. Her bestselling business book, Go Ask Your Mothers, brought these insights to teams and leaders across the country.
Sarah’s work spans the grassroots to the national stage, from building coalitions and testifying before Congress to driving change in media and markets. She knows how to connect policy to story, and strategy to culture.
Moms don’t just need a seat at the table. We build the table, staff the meeting, and bring the snacks.
